
Plagiarism Policy
Musabab: Journal of Islamic Law and Social Practice is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. The journal strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism, including but not limited to direct plagiarism, self-plagiarism, mosaic plagiarism, and improper citation practices.
To ensure originality and scholarly quality, all manuscripts submitted to Musabab Journal will undergo plagiarism screening prior to the peer-review process. The editorial board applies a maximum allowable similarity index of 20%, excluding references, bibliographies, and commonly used phrases. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the severity and nature of the similarity identified.
Plagiarism detection is conducted using Turnitin, managed by the Editorial Board to ensure consistency, transparency, and accuracy in the screening process. Authors are expected to ensure that their submissions are original works, properly cite all sources, and comply with ethical standards of academic writing.
By submitting a manuscript to Musabab: Journal of Islamic Law and Social Practice, authors agree to abide by this plagiarism policy and acknowledge that failure to comply may result in rejection of the manuscript, retraction of published articles, or other corrective actions in accordance with the journal’s ethical guidelines.
